We Will Be Hit With Freezing Temperatures And Snow FOR DAYS As Of Tomorrow

It's starting this weekend...

Snow Manchester

Not the news you want to hear on a Friday afternoon but it looks like it's going to be a freezing cold one this weekend with snow cover predicted, and it could mark the start of a month-long wintry weather hangover from February...

According to the Met Office, today will be mild but the coming days will see snow cover and harsh, wintry conditions, with the main blankets of ice expected to be seen on higher ground in the North, particularly on Sunday night, which will be very cold with spots of sun but mainly rain, hail, sleet alongside incidents of snow.

The UK as a whole is set to feel the end-of-winter wrath with experts predicting heavy showers, as well as an Arctic blast which will bring strong winds of up to 70mph in the coming days.

Watch out for frost and icy patches in places and check ahead if you're driving!
