Met office has issued an extended weather warning for Storm Helene, which is forecast to hit the UK tonight.
According to forecasters, ‘strong spells’ will reach most of the UK, with a yellow warning issued from 9pm on Monday 17th and 6pm on Tuesday 18th.
Damage to trees and buildings is possible, with delays on road and rail services expected.
The yellow warning extends across most of the UK.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: “Although now expected to bring less strong winds, the remnants of Storm Helene will move northeastwards across Wales and England during Monday night and Tuesday.”
