Met Office Issues Another Warning For Snow In Manchester For Tonight

Not impressed.

The Met Office has issued another weather warning for Manchester and parts of Greater Manchester this afternoon.

The yellow warning is in place between 12:05am tonight until 11:00am on Thursday 8 March, with more snow on the way.

Not impressed.

A spokesperson for the Met Office said: "Sleet and snow for upland areas and some lower ground as well overnight and during Thursday morning.

"Some roads and railways are likely to be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services."

The warning covers Manchester city centre, as well as parts of Greater Manchester and Cheshire, including Stockport, Macclesfield and Rochdale.

The Met Office said up to 5cm of snow are likely in some places, especially on higher ground.

This news comes after forecasters predicted the 'Pest from the West' will hit the UK on Friday or Saturday this week.

Time to get the gloves, scarves and hats out of the cupboard again.
