Wave Goodbye To Grey Skies - Another Mini-Heatwave Is On Its Way
Dust off those sunnies, Manchester 👋👋👋
If you've ventured outside in or around Manchester in the last month, you'll have been lucky enough to experience an array of different weather types.
First we had the Beast from the East - a lovely week or so of snow blizzards, storms and gusty winds.
Then we had a calm period before the Pest from the West threatened to trash our hopes of nice March weather.
Last week's few days of 'summer' weather gave us all hope that things were finally brightening up, until the Heaven's opened once again and Manchester rain let loose for another round of grey days.
Well, good news may be on the horizon, as forecasters are predicting the UK is in for another mini-heatwave starting next week.
According to the Met Office, two glorious days of sunshine are heading our way on Monday and Tuesday, with temperatures hitting averages of 19 and 20C, and bright clear skies predicted.
Katie Greening, forecaster of The Weather Channel, said the mercury will spike at the beginning of next week, rising above average on Tuesday.
She said: "The higher temperatures will be as a result of the flow of warmer air from the south ahead of low pressure."
Here's hoping and praying their mini-heatwave predictions come true.
