Flights from Manchester Airport have been cancelled this morning following the bad weather last night.
Flights to and from London Heathrow have been cancelled after heavy overnight rain meant plane de-icing couldn’t take place until this morning. Earlier this morning, flights from Frankfurt, Munich, and Amsterdam, were also cancelled.
Manchester to Heathrow 09:55 – British Airways, American Airlines, Iberia Airlines, & Qatar Airways.
Furthermore, flights to Dubai, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, and Charleroi have been delayed by up to two hours.

In the South, there were over 50,000 homes without power last night after heavy snow and winds up to 70mph caused damage to overhead networks, SSEN have reported.
They said: “From 6am this morning, engineers have restored power to over 48,000 customers. As of 11pm tonight, around 2,900 customers remain off supply.”
