On Friday 15th June, 5-9pm, Levenshulme Market is throwing a big fat Manchester party – a celebration of all things Mancunian-made.
The Proud to be Manc night market will be held on the Levenshulme Train Station Car Park (M19 3AB).
With the Manchester Day Parade taking place just a couple of days later on Sunday 17th June, the organisers thought it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate all things Manc-made on the market. Providing the music, from Manchester bands and artists of course, will be DJs from local independent station XS Manchester.
The night market is foodie heaven, featuring more than 12 stalls of delicious, global street food from local chefs, including South African Braii (BBQ), Greek Souvlaki, Thai noodles, Spanish paella, American-style subs and Chinese vegan street food.
The Levy Market pop-up bar will be serving the thirsty crowds with locally-brewed beer, along with wine, prosecco and spirits. Those fancying a different tipple can enjoy a booze-infused coffee from Coffee Cranks Cooperative.
Gin & Sin
In exciting news– a converted horse box bar will be serving up a huge range of gin and tonic cocktails.
Alongside the incredible food and drink on offer will be a selection of artisan stalls run by Manchester-based makers and designers, including By Nikomi bee-themed artwork, BubbleOff Vegan Skincare, Grow MCR plants and Dot Dot Dot Jewellery.
