The Trafford Centre's New Escape Room Is Coming With Serial Killer Storylines And More
Players are challenged to make it to the getaway van in time 👀🏃🏃
Brace yourselves - there's a brand new escape room coming to Manchester, challenging players to a whole new set of experiences.
Lucardo's new escape room complex is opening near the Trafford Centre this summer and will offer players a new prison break scenario, so you and your mates can experience what it would be like to get one over on the cops and jump the cell.
There's also chance of escaping in a getaway van, as well as 12 more challenges, including realistic murder mysteries and drug run plots.
The £250,000 new attraction is expected to open in June, and will be their second around Manchester.
Director Adam Conroy told Mancunian Matters: “We want to make sure people forget they are even playing a game.
“Compared to what’s on offer at the minute, this will take escape rooms beyond anything anyone will have experienced before.
“It will see us move away from the more traditional tasks like cracking a code to find a key which unlocks a chest with another clue inside.
“Our new rooms will be as close to real-life experiences as you can imagine. Ever wondered if you’d have the nous to escape from a real-life prison like Alcatraz?
“This will be as close as you can get to finding out.”
Lucardo also runs escape rooms on Great Ancoats Street, featuring the University of Magic, Gem Runner, Espionage and Virginia House, and says this will be one of the most realistic escape scenarios to date, mirroring real life as much as possible.
The challenge will be for groups of 2 to 6 people, who will have just 60 minutes to escape the prison setting.
