Stockport Is Getting It's Own Ice Sculpture Trail This Month And It Looks Amazing
Featuring a Grinch ice sculpture...
There’s no shortage of festive activities to get stuck into across Manchester this year.
From the ever-growing Christmas Markets, to festive movie pop-ups and a huge Winter Funland in Trafford - there is quite literally something for everyone.
The Ice Village has debuted at Cathedral Gardens this year, with punters paying £9 a head to see the ice sculptures.
The wonderful news coming out of Stockport is that they’ll be getting their very own ice sculpture TRAIL this month. And it’ll be completely free for us to experience.

Ice sculptures featured include The Grinch, a gingerbread man, Olaf and a Christmas tree.
The event will be spread across two Saturdays - 15th December and 22nd December.
The ice sculptures will form a trail around the town centre. You’ll be able to find them at Mersey Square, Suffragette Square, The Light Cinema, Merseyway, Warren Street Bridge, Great Underbank, The Peel Centre, Market Place, Stockport Exchange and St. Peter’s Square.
There’ll even be a LIVE carving - of an Angel will be on the 15th, and a Unicorn on the 22nd.
The trail features as a part of Stockport’s Winter Wonderland.
And we are very much buzzing for it!
