The Regent Cinema Is One Of The Nicest Experiences In Manchester

Settle in for the night!

Opened in 1932, the Regent Cinema in Marple is one of the few independently run cinemas left in the country.

Reopened in 1969 after falling into disrepair, you can watch recent releases from the comfort of stunning retro seating, and there's even an old fashioned intermission with £1 pots of ice cream on offer.

Here's what people are saying: "Excellent independent cinema with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The seats are the comfiest I've experienced, with plenty of leg room. The halftime interval is a nice touch too."

There's only one screening room with only 252 seats and tickets start at as little as £5. Bargain!
