In a world full of weird and wonderful places to stay, its fairly hard to be surprised these days.

I mean, we’ve seen it all right?! A Cheese Theme Park, Floating Hotel Rooms or even the Love Island Villa – you can stay wherever you like.

But what about a room with no walls and no roof? With just the sky and mother nature to keep you company?

This unique hotel in Switzerland is simply a bed in the mountains – but just look at it.

Guests are spoilt with a spot underneath the stars, surrounded by incredible scenic views.

The Null Stern Hotel was designed by artists Frank and Patrik Riklin, three rooms in the hotel come only with with beds

The ‘rooms’ are found in the Toggenburg Valley, a stunning spot surrounded by the towering Alpstein mountain range.

There are three types of room to choose from: the Stump Suite, Schwendi Suite, and the Burst Suite.

You can stay at The Null Stern Hotel for around 295 CHF per night (about £232).
