We’re all about planning for a brighter 2018.
And this stunning yurt’s got a romantic weekend away written all over it.
Yurtshire Fountains is located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, set amongst the stunning countryside of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – so it’s close enough to Manchester for a weekend trip.
Situated one mile from the world famous Fountains Abbey and Studley Park World Heritage Site, it’s got four stylish and comfortable yurts – each with their own private hot tub and decking area so you can sit back, relax and bathe beneath the stars.
The website explains: “The chic interiors are both rustic and cosy and are furnished with a double bed, double and single futon and private kitchen facilities making the yurts an ideal break for a couple on a romantic getaway or a group of friends or family.”
Each yurt has a private flushing loo and hot gas powered shower.
They add: “Our handcrafted yurts all have steam bent ash beams and a unique round top solid oak door. The chic interiors are both rustic and cosy and are furnished with a double bed, double and single futon and private kitchen facilities making the yurts an ideal break for a couple on a romantic getaway or a group of friends or family.”

It’s all off grid – no electricity or wi-fi – which means you can escape the modern life and relax in the ambiance of lanterns, tea lights and a classic wood burning stove.
This sounds right up our street…
