Breakout Manchester has today announced they will closing their hallmark location next to the Town Hall.
The news has come as a shock, as this location houses their five original and iconic escape rooms. But not to worry, we have been assured by Breakout that bigger and better things are to come.
The Town Hall location will be closing to the public from Wednesday 1st May. Which means we only have two months to get our crew down to Town Hall and try our luck at one of the five escape Rooms.
One of the most popular rooms is The Detective Office. This room transports you back to the 1950s when a young, highly-skilled detective by the name of Harry Dean is shockingly murdered in his own office and YOU have been framed as his killer.
The only way to save yourself from a lifetime in jail is to discover who the REAL murderer is.
Everything from the highly detailed set to the trench coat costumes will transport you into Harry Dean’s world of mystery, murder and intrigue.
Another crowd favourite is Virus, and if you’re like me and love a good Zombie flick, then this is the room for you.
You and your team must battle against the clock to save humankind from a deadly zombie infection that’s sweeping the world.
It’s as if you’ve been transported to Season 1 of The Walking Dead – except hopefully for you, you find a cure and don’t end up living in a incurable zombie apocalypse world.
The other amazing rooms they have for you and your squad to play are: Infiltrate, in which you must break out your friend who has been wrongfully imprisoned. Sabotage, where you go behind enemy lines to stop a missile strike with endangers the safety of the entire world and finally, Madchester. In this room you become a master thief – Oceans 11 style – except instead of robbing a casino, you rob all the extremely valuable Manchester related collectables.
You don’t want to miss out putting your code breaking skills to the test, so get your squad together and book in a room now here before May 1st.
But don’t worry, after May 1st you can keep honing your Escape Room skills at the High Street site where they have a whopping TEN rooms to choose from.
Stay tuned for updates.
