Strawberry Recording Studios was the site of music recordings by British legends between 1967 and 1993 – and is remembered fondly as home to 10cc and studio of choice for many top artists. It’s the subject of an exhibition at Stockport museum – more below – but if you want to pay homage, be our guest.

A current exhibition really worth noting celebrates the legendary Stockport recording studios (above). ‘I Am in Love’ explores Strawberry’s rich heritage commemorating 50 years since the studio first opened welcoming the likes of Joy Division, The Smiths and The Stone Roses through its doors.
