New Maker Yards, once complete, will house more than 800 affordable homes in Manchester city centre – the largest build-to-rent development outside of London.
Located near the Science & Industry Museum, New Maker Yards features canal side green space combined with city living, and promotes a no deposit, no fees, no hassle approach.
Rent operator Get Living has launched the first 275 new homes at New Maker Yards in Middlewood Locks.

Following a survey with renters to find out how to make renting easier, Get Living discovered more than 30% said costs were always top of the list for causing stress.
Because of this, Get Living is offering New Makers Yards residents their first summer free, with no rent to pay before 1 September 2019.
Neil Young, Chief Executive at Get Living, said: “After more than six years of growth and experience, we’re excited to be bringing the Get Living renting and living experience to New Maker Yards at Middlewood Locks.
“For our launch at New Maker Yards, we’ve taken our no fees and no deposit approach even further, offering a rent-free summer to make the moving process even easier and to give our residents their best ever summer.
“We are passionate about creating brilliant big city neighbourhoods and are proud that New Maker Yards at Middlewood Locks is our first outside London.”
Homes are now available at New Maker Yards, starting from £1,000 per calendar month.
