Local agents are predicting that property values have risen across Greater Manchester for 2018.

This news comes after figures for the House Price Index figures were released.

Average price of property coming to market is up 0.7% (+£2,067) this month on Rightmove.

They add: “Buyers are still price-sensitive with sales agreed numbers in the last quarter of 2017 down 5.5% on the same period a year ago.”

The average price of property in the North West in January 2018 is £187,134, up 2.4% on last month, and 5.5% on the same point last year.

It’s taking an average of 73 days for a property to sell in the region.

Rightmove visits up by an average of over 9% so far in January compared to same period last year, averaging more than four million visits per day.
