It’s nearly time to celebrate – Manchester Pride returns this August with a full line-up of artists taking to the stage to perform some of their greatest hits.
As well as the parade, Manchester Pride Live will bring a weekend full of performances from some of your favourite artists. The event will take place throughout the Mayfield site in Piccadilly, including the huge outdoor performance space, The Yard.
Who can we expect?
Honorary Mancunian Ariana Grande will perform at Manchester Pride Live at Mayfield in the headline slot on Sunday night.
Legendary LGBT+ bar G-A-Y on Canal Street will bring former Girls Aloud singer Cheryl to perform this August Bank holiday. She will be joined by former NDubz star Tulisa on Sunday night.
Cheryl will be performing on the main stage at Manchester Pride Live at Mayfield in the city centre, joining Ariana Grande, Bananarama, Years and Years, Louisa, Becky Hill and many more.
Ministry of Sound Classical, an orchestral reimagining of the dance music compilation series, is a live performance by a 50-strong London Concert Orchestra, featuring some of the biggest 90’s dance hits, including ‘Hey Boy Hey Girl’ (The Chemical Brothers), ‘Sunchyme’ (Dario G), ‘Insomnia’ (Faithless) and ‘Right Here, Right Now’ (Fatboy Slim), also performing on Sunday.
The list of top name DJs performing includes Kings Of Tomorrow, Faithless, Basement Jaxx, Hercules and Love Affair and Nicky Siano’s Hallelujah Disco, plus female DJ duo, Maze&Masters (Verity Mayes & Bryony Masters).
Plus Chelcee Grimes, Becky Hill, Liberty X, Louisa, Youngr, Pixie Lott, Four of Diamonds and transgender German singer Kim Petras will perform over the weekend.
