Police are appealing for information after a potential abduction in Bolton.
Shortly before 8.45pm on Tuesday 28 November 2017, police were called to reports of a kidnapping on Regent Road in Lostock.
The person who made the report told police that she had just seen a man being bundled into the back of a car.
This was done by two men, who are described as white, in their late teens, with the driver wearing a black jacket.
The car is described as a small, light coloured car with black print or writing on the bonnet.
Detective Inspector Stephanie Parker of GMP’s Bolton borough, said: “Clearly this is a very unusual incident, in which we are working to establish who the victim is and also, who the offenders are.
“We believe this to have been an isolated incident but have stepped up patrols in the area as a precaution, we’d ask anyone with concerns to raise these with the officers directly.
“If you saw a white car around Lostock in the evening of Tuesday November 28 2017, or saw anything that could help us identify who the people involved in this incident are, please get in touch.”
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5757 or 101, quoting incident number 203 of 28/11/17. Reports can also be made anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
