Manchester's Halloween 2017 Plans Sound Brilliant
Not long until the spookiest night of the year
Whether you're a nine-year-old kid who loves free sweets and spooky stories, or you're a 29-year-old adult with a love for themed cocktails and horror films, Halloween has something for everyone.
And the Manchester's Halloween festivities sounds like they will too.
The terrifyingly good events lined up for this year are set to include horror walks and horror films, spooky sounds, fancy dress, and family events.
And organisers also say over two days - October 28 and 29 - there will be offers from the biggest names in shopping, food and drink.
Events will be taking place primarily in the heart of Manchester city centre.
The Facebook event's not revealing much more at this stage, but if last year's celebrations are anything to go by, it'll be a cracker.
In 2016, there were more than 4,000 pumpkin lanterns in the trees from the shopping district to the Corn Exchange and more, as well as Halloween-themed window displays in the city’s shops.
Manchester Town Hall, Selfridges, Manchester Arndale, Manchester Central, and The Lowry were among the buildings which lit up green after dark for the event, while a sinister set of cemetery gates appeared on Market Street.
Can't wait to see the whole plans for this year - mark your interest at the Facebook event to stay in the loop.
