You Might Be Able To Catch A Glimpse Of The Northern Lights Above Manchester Tonight

Stargazers of Manchester may be in for a treat tonight as they may just be able to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights above the city. 

Weather experts are predicting a minor geomagnetic storm which means residents of Scotland, the north of England and Northern Ireland may be in with a chance of seeing the phenomenon. 

The storm has a kp number of 5 meaning the Northern Lights can be seen in more southerly areas than usual, with the following cities among them:
