Hamleys, which already has a branch in the Trafford Centre, is one of the most famous toy retailers in the world and with an opening date of Saturday October 22nd, it enters the Deansgate market just in time for the Christmas rush.

Anne Latham, Store Manager at House of Fraser Deansgate, said:

“We are delighted to partner with Hamleys and to be the department store who is bringing such a wonderful toy brand to the city.

We have listened to our customers’ feedback and we are extremely pleased be able to offer a prestigious toy department which will complement our existing premium childrenswear offering, located on the 6th floor.”

What's more, the new store will be giving away 20 of their famous Hamleys bears to the first 20 children who visit  on Saturday.

We'll leave it up to you as to when to inform the kids about this great news. But you should probably be prepared for the incessant hassling that will inevitably come your way when you do.
