Work is set to begin on a new £350m tramline in Greater Manchester which will include the Trafford Centre as one of it's stops.

The new 5.5km line was approved in October and will go from Pomona to Trafford Park via the Imperial War Museum.

An information day is set to take place at the museum tomorrow (Tuesday January 10th) from 10am to 4.30pm.

The line will call at six new stops - Wharfside, Imperial War Museum, Village, Parkway, EventCity and the Trafford Centre and is expected to open in 2020.
