Surprise Surprise - Manchester Set For Rain This Weekend

In other news, the Pope's a Catholic...

We feel like we could schedule that same headline towards the end of every week and it would have a 90% accuracy rate.

Whatever you're doing this weekend, it's best to make sure it's indoors, particularly on Saturday when it's expected to be wet and windy all afternoon.

It should dry up about eight o'clock but with the September evenings now closing in, that doesn't leave much opportunity to get out in the sun.

Early showers on Sunday will make way for bright spells meaning there should be enough time to get a healthy dose of vitamin D before the working week begins again.

Don't shoot the messenger guys.
