Snow Watch - Greater Manchester Could Wake Up To A Blanket Of The White Stuff On Friday Morning

The Met Office have warned Mancunians to be prepared for snow on Friday morning with freezing overnight temperatures leading to wintry showers.

The hills in areas such as Buxton, Macclesfield, Oldham, Hyde & Ashton could all be hit by sleet and snow from 3am on Friday but the showers are not expected to last.

However, sunny spells later in the afternoon are set to spoil the fun for snow lovers around the region.

Bookies are now offering odds of 3/1 that Manchester will wake up to a White Christmas on December 25th.
