You know this is going to be amazing...

Michelin-starred chef and food buff Michael O’Hare has joined galactic forces with Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville to open a brand spanking new ‘space-age Asian’ eatery inside Manchester’s National Football Museum.

The Rabbit In The Moon

And it's the 5th and 6th floors of the phenomenal Urbis building which will home The Rabbit In The Moon. The new venture takes its name from an Asian fable and will be overseen by O'Hare and his protégé Luke Cockerill, who'll join the restaurant as head chef from his Leeds kitchen and restaurant - The Man Behind The Curtain. We cannot bloody wait...

The class of '92 football aces Giggs and Neville named O’Hare creative director of their GG Hospitality empire early doors in 2016 and word on the grapevine is that they already have plans in the pipeline for THREE restaurants inside Manchester's Stock Exchange, The Rabbit In The Moon included.

Set to provide a 'space-age Asian' tasting menu (we're as intrigued as you...)from Tuesday through to Saturday, as well as drinks by Talented Mr Fox's Matt Whiley, Manchester's holding their breath for a truly world-class affair.

O'Hare has said:

“On the inception of The Rabbit In The Moon, I am a success as a result of the people I surround myself with. Luke has been my right hand man since he was 17, he is the most creative, fun and dynamic chef I have ever known and it is amazing to see a guy so young set to achieve so much.”

Gary Neville agreed with the sentiment and voiced his excitement at what's set to be Manchester's hottest new restaurant launch:

“To open our first restaurant with creative director Michael O’Hare and his team is a fantastic moment for GG Hospitality and Manchester. It is an exciting time for our business with further announcements imminent.”

Watch this space folks...
