Manchester To Be Basking In The Sunshine By Wednesday
It's predicted to be hotter than Tenerife
Weather forecasters have predicted that Manchester could be warmer than the Canary Islands from Wednesday this week.
From Wednesday 18th - Saturday 21st April, temperatures are set to rise as high as in the 20's, with Thursday seeing a high of 22 degrees.
The coming weekend is also set out to remain dry. Is it finally time to start enjoying Spring outdoors?
The Met Office has reported the following weather updates for this week ahead:
A rather cloudy start with some patchy light rain likely, mainly over the hills. Otherwise Monday will be mostly fine with sunny spells and a small chance of a light shower developing. Turning cloudier from the west later. Maximum temperature 14 °C.
Cloud will increase from the west through the evening and the winds will strengthen. Some patchy rain is also possible, mainly over the hills. Minimum temperature 8 °C.
Windy with possible coastal gales. Locally heavy outbreaks of rain will slowly edge southeast, but will turn lighter and patchier later with the wind also easing. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Wednesday to Friday:
Turning drier and brighter through Wednesday with sunny spells developing. Dry with further sunny spells thereafter. Becoming much warmer with the highest temperatures likely on Thursday.
