Last Night Was The Coldest Of The Year The UK And Things Are Going To Get Worse



Get home, close the curtains, get under the duvet and do not move. 

The UK experienced the coldest night of the year last night and temperatures are set to plummet further.

The village of Sennybridge in Powys recorded the coldest reading with the lowest November figure since 2010.

The timing is rather appropriate as tomorrow, December 1st, marks the beginning of meteorological winter which lasts until February 28th. 

Public Health England has warned people that 'cold does kill' so remember to wrap up warm whether you're inside or outside the house.
