With the temperatures starting to soar again this week there couldn't be a better time for the North West's biggest inland beach to open.

The attraction opens on Saturday in Heaton Park and will clearly appeal to families with tons of stuff to keep kids entertained.

The park is free to enter with the paddle pools and beach for kids to build their sandcastles on not incurring a fee.

You can however purchase an £8.99 wristband which gives you access to the rides, further entertainment and shows put on by characters from Paw Patrol and Beauty and the beast.
