Great News For Commuters As Stagecoach Set To Introduce Contactless Payment

Hail to the bus driver...

Commuters of Greater Manchester rejoice.

Stagecoach has announced plans to introduce a cashless option on all its services by next January.

Contactless payment in Manchester will follow similar moves in Ashford, Kent and Tyne and Wear who will all welcome the scheme before the end of the year.

Stagecoach is also working with other major bus operators to install contactless technology on all of Britain’s 32,000 buses outside London.
