Word on the grapevine is that the new Roxy Ball Room is recruiting a rather, ahem, different role ahead of their Deansgate launch this week…
‘Senior Ball Inspector’, amongst other hospitality positions, is one of 25 new jobs being created when Manchester’s newest edition opens to the public on Thursday 27th April.
The roles still being advertised are: bartenders, waiters, chefs and the rather unusually titled role of ‘senior ball inspector.’
The energetic bar concept combines an indie playlist, craft beers, signature cocktails, pizza, burgers, ping pong, pool and beer pong all under one roof and has proved hugely popular with guests and team members alike at their Leeds, Liverpool and Huddersfield branches.

The candidate who successfully impresses with their suitability for ‘senior ball inspector’ will be responsible for overseeing ball management for the bar’s ping pong, pool and beer pong tables and generally ensuring everyone is having as much as fun as possible whilst gaming.

The main responsibility of the ‘Senior Ball Inspector’ would be receptionist duties on the games desk, plus ball management (inspecting and ordering when required), additionally you may be required to work on the bar.
