BREAKING: Major Fire Tears Through Manchester's Chinatown
A huge fire has broken out in Manchester's beloved Chinatown this morning and the Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service say they are still working hard with their team to resolve it.
They've tweeted to alert the public that Portland Street, Faulkner Street and Nicolas Street are closed and are imploring visitors and locals to avoid the area at all costs until it has been cleared and declared safe to enter - there remains concern about falling debris as well as the stability of affected buildings.
The cause is yet to be determined.
