Police and Firefighters were called to a scene in Rochdale after an explosion in a factory, the MEN reports.
A loud bang was heard in the area around a manufacturing plant on Todmorden Road, Littleborough, at around 6pm on Wednesday evening. Greater Manchester Police said they were assisting Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service with the blast.
The Junction of Church Street on Todmorden Road remains closed.
The cause of the explosion has yet to be revealed and no one is reported to be injured.
