Alan Partridge Is In Manchester Waterstones Right Now!
The Deansgate branch welcomes Steve Coogan for the star's new book signing
Steve Coogan, famed for playing fictional character Alan Partridge has rocked up to Waterstones in Deansgate for the much-awaited signing of his new memoir - Nomad.
The book depicts Alan donning his boots, windcheater and scarf as he embarks on an odyssey through a place he once knew - Britain - "intent on completing a journey of immense personal significance."
Written in the form of a 'journey journal', Alan details the people and places he encounters, ruminates on matters large and small and not so much 'finds himself' as all Perah and Gap Yah goers seem to these days, but rather becomes a "better, more inspiring example of a man."
And in true Partridge style, the comedian has arrived to the city bookshop in a rather...unconventional looking mode of transport...
