A Christmas Tipi Bar Pop Up Is Coming To The City

Warm the cockles under twinkling fairy lights...

Tipi Salford

Take cosy cover from that descending winter chill. Festive tipi bar The Lodge is set to pop up at Salford Quays this winter.

Hosted by the team behind The Dockyard pub, the tent will pitch up on the Media City piazza in the run-up to Christmas and will be decked out with all the bells and whistles.

Expect strings of twinkling fairy lights, bierkeller-style wooden tables and an offering of hot and cold seasonal drinks that Santa himself would surely approve of.

Plus, seasonal soups, pretzels and hot dogs will also be available to soak up all of the above.

Dinner Set

The proposed opening hours this year are from from 11am to 10.30pm daily, except on Christmas Eve (which will see opening extended to midnight) and New Year’s Eve (until 2am).

The application will go before Salford’s licensing committee next month before approval is confirmed - so fingers and toes crossed!

This follows multiple seasonal announcements just ahead of the Festive season including pop-up apres ski chalet Bar Hütte in Spinningfields and the annual Christmas Lights Switch On in Albert Square.
