HUGE NEWS: Manchester Pride Festival has confirmed Ariana Grande will headline the festival this year.
The event will be held on August 23-26, over two years on from the terrorist attack which claimed the lives of 22 people at her concert at the Manchester Arena in May 2017.
Ariana Grande announced she would be returning to the UK for her album tour and had listed dates in London, Glasgow, Birmingham and Sheffield – but not Manchester.
However, the singer clarified this through an Instagram post which read “Manchester is not on this initial list because we are planning a special show.
“We need a bit more time getting things together before we can announce that date but we are of course coming and we love you.”
It has now been confirmed that she will headline Manchester Pride Live festival which will be held at the new 9,000-capacity outdoor venue in Mayfield on August 25.
Other acts that have been confirmed include Years & Years, Bananarama, Basement Jaxx and many more.

This will be an emotional return for the singer who has not performed in Manchester since she headlined and co-ordinated the benefit concert One Love Manchester in June 2017.
