A Medical Centre In Boston, US, Sent Pizzas To Manchester Hospital After The Attack

If Manchester's true spirit has been seen through the kaleidoscope of the last two horrific days, then the friendships the city has with those on other shores have also become clear.

Hot on the heels of the incredible gesture as buildings worldwide were lit in red, white and blue in solidarity, two doctors who were treating children caught in Monday's blast have told reporters that they were sent pizza from Boston Medical Centre.

"Not Boston in Lincolnshire," Dr Steve Jones said with pride. "Boston in the United States."

Thanks guys - you're our New England cousins.
