Ever since we heard series five would be hitting our screens in 2019, we’ve been waiting with baited breath for any hint or detail of what might unfold in the new episodes of the Brum-based ganster drama.
The BBC have been teasing us something rotten with a minute-long sneak peak alongside other Netflix favourites including Luther, Poldark and Killing Eve.
The clip was shared on Twitter in a post which reads:

What’s the story?
Gang head Tommy is set to battle in the world of politics and the British government as he takes on his ‘darkest force yet’ following the financial stock market crash of ’29.
The air date has not yet been confirmed, but we’re on the edge of our seats already. It’s set to be nail-biting. So watch this space…
