The Manchester Half Term Bucket List: 12 Things You HAVE To Do With Bae

Or your mates, for that matter...

Whether you've got a hot (or let's face it in the Tinder age - blind) date coming up and need some awesome ideas, or just want to spend some good old fashioned time frolicking around Manchester with the ones you love - well, we've got you covered...

1. Take A Morning Stroll Around Chorlton Water Park

Hand in hand - there's nothing better. The views are spectacular and there's a charming little cafe called The Dish Ran Away With The Spoon to cosy up in afterwards with a cuppa and a jammy scone.

The views speak for themselves...

2. Virtual Hideout

This bizarre, addictive experience is a hell of a lot of fun. Not only is it something a bit different to do with friends if you're the one entertaining, it's for people of all ages and abilities.

Virtual Hideout offer experiences catering to novices and seasoned gamers (as well as everyone inbetween), but whatever you pick you are totally immersed in a virtual world that feels all too real and plays host to a variety of cutting-edge games using all of the latest technology....

3. Grab A Coffee From Cafe Bar 19

Their Iced Chai Coconut Latte is the one. End of. And their cakes aren't half bad either...

4. Treetop Adventure Golf

The new interactive golf experience recently launched in The Printworks to rapt applause, enlivening the senses with Amazon-themed crazy golf, tasty street food-style pizza and jungle themed cocktails.

Treetop Adventure Golf features two 18-hole courses in a tropical rainforest world that sits high above Manchester...

5. Go On An Interactive Gin Tour

Manchester Three Rivers interactive gin expereince has been voted number one thing to do in Manchester on TripAdvisor - and with good reason.

You'll learn about the surprisingly dark history of gin (think mad history lesson with a hefty G&T thrown in for good measure) and about the distilling process - while sipping a knock-your-socks off Aviation cocktail.

To round it all off you'll be let loose on the mini copper pot stills where you're invited to, yes - MAKE YOUR OWN BOTTLE OF GIN.

Stay calm, everyone.

6. Breakout

Grab a slice of intrigue, action and fun with live escape room specialists Breakout, they have two popular Manchester sites - one by the iconic Town Hall in the city centre and the other on the High Street.

One hour. One room. Many brain cells required...

7. Let Loose In Base Bar the home of the North's only baseball batting cages - where you can try out baseball with up to 4 of your friends.

Just want to watch? Kinky but, that's fine too. They have an awesome bar with great tunes, amazing cocktails and friendly bar staff.

They sometimes even have cake ;)

8. Eat Tapas In Levanter

A beautiful little spot and true tapas bar, all the gorgeous food here is as fresh as you can get and cooked from scratch daily - all in the beautiful setting of Greater Manchester's Ramsbottom.

9. Drink Cocktails In The Sky

The terrace at 20 Stories is up in the clouds and out of this world, and the cocktails ain't half bad either ;)

The staff rave about the Manchester Tart - but it's the truffle Old Fashioned (served with chocolates disguised as pebbles) which is the one you really want to watch...
