Wigan Player Scores Two Goals Then Gets Subbed To Go See Baby Being Born
The photos show he was just in time
The birth of one's child is one of the most important moments in life and Wigan player Ryan Colclough made it just in time.
He was playing for Wigan against Doncaster and had actually scored a brace of goals in the first half of the game when he suddenly got the nod telling him his wife had gone into labour.
- He scored his second goal at 9.05pm
- At 11.19pm he was photographed in full kit with his new baby
Congrats to Ryan Colclough who scored a brace tonight in our win before being substituted to make it in time to see the birth of his son! 👏🏼 pic.twitter.com/Efvjk9P3sw— David Sharpe (@DavidSharpe91) November 21, 2017
The good news is that the baby is well and his team Wigan went onto win 3-0 without him.
An incredible story!
