WATCH: Mourinho Calls Out United Pair For Not Playing Through The Pain Barrier

Defensive duo under the spotlight...

Smallingshaw

United manager José Mourinho appeared to take a veiled swipe at defensive pair Chris Smalling and Luke Shaw after Sunday's 3-1 victory away to Swansea City.

Both players missed the game due to injury but Mourinho feels that they could have taken part like other United players and sporting acquaintances who regularly play through the pain barrier.

In the video below, José is responding to a question regarding comments he made in his earlier TV interview where he insinuated that Shaw and Smalling were reluctant to take part due to their knocks:

It appears Mourinho feels that not everyone at Old Trafford is pulling together as they should be.

What do you think? Should he have called the players out in public or kept his feelings in-house? Let us know in the comments.
