WATCH: 5 Times United Scored Against City And Sent Their Fans Absolutely Bananas

Insane reactions...

There's nothing like getting one over your rivals.

This Saturday, the eyes of the world will be on Manchester as United host City in the first Premier League clash between respective managers and notorious rivals José Mourinho and Pep Guardiola.

Both teams have acquired maximum points from their opening three games of the Premier League season but something will have to give this weekend.

United fans have fond memories of beating City in the Derby and here are just some of the goals that have sent their supporters into la-la land, in no particular order.

Don't worry, City fans. We'll get to you.

1. Wayne Rooney - February 2011

Arguably the greatest goal ever scored in a game between the two Manchester sides, this was Rooney at the absolute peak of his powers.

Receiving Nani's cross from the right, Rooney elevated himself at an angle which most people wouldn't have thought possible before sending an acrobatic, unstoppable overhead kick high past startled City keeper Joe Hart.

2. Wayne Rooney, January 2010

If there's anything better than beating City for United fans, it's beating City to seal a place in a final.

Rooney's late winner in the League Cup semi-final second leg not only put United through to a Wembley final but helped to extend City's trophyless streak to 35 years.

3. Nani, August 2011

2-0 down in the Community Shield at half-time,United had to pull something special out of the bag to turn things around.

Cue goals from Chris Smalling and Nani before the latter sealed an unlikely victory in injury-time.

4. Robin Van Persie, December 2012

The Dutchman was the subject of transfer speculation linking him to both clubs in the preceding summer but eventually landed at Old Trafford.

It turned out to be a good move. Van Persie scored 26 league goals in a season where United clinched a record 20th title. None of which were as sweet for the supporters as this late free-kick winner at the Etihad.

5. Michael Owen, September 2009

Perhaps the most memorable goal in Manchester Derby history.

Former Liverpool hero Owen made the surprise switch to Old Trafford in the summer of 2009.

Despite never playing regular first-team football at the club, he will always be remembered (reluctantly, by some) for this incredibly dramatic injury-time clincher at the end of one of the greatest games in Premier League history.
