United Fans Vote Overwhelmingly In Favour Of José Mourinho's Management

After winning three successive league games at the start of the season, Manchester United have followed up with just one win in seven leaving them lingering in 8th position of the Premier League.

While it would be ridiculous to suggest that manager José Mourinho is in any way under pressure at such an early stage in the campaign, it's fair to say that results aren't exactly what fans hoped they would be when the Portuguese arrived at Old Trafford in the summer.

A 0-0 draw at home to Burnley on Saturday, a game which United dominated, saw whispers begin to emerge that fans are unhappy with Mourinho's management style.

In a bid to gauge the views of Red Devils around the world, your friends here at Lovin Manchester conducted a Twitter poll to see just what supporters were thinking.

The results were as follows:

So there you have it. 1,439 voters reckon they're still behind Mourinho while just 314 want to see him out the door.

That works out as approximately 82 per cent of supporters who feel United should stand by their man.

With two away games to come this week against Fenerbahce and Swansea City, we wonder would this percentage be as high if we conduct the poll next week.

Time will tell.
