United Cult Hero Applies For Managerial Role In Ireland

We Didn't See This Coming...

Kanch

Former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis has applied for the role of manager at League of Ireland side Shamrock Rovers.

The Russian, who has experience managing in his homeland, also played 10 games for Manchester City on loan in 2001.

Rovers are Ireland's most successful club having won 44 major trophies throughout their history.

Should Andrei be successful in his application we may see a number of Mancunian supporters heading over the Irish Sea to catch his side in action.
