New Territory For United As They Enter Today's Europa League Group Stage Draw

The Champions League's little brother...

Manchester United will boldly go where they've never gone before today as they enter the draw for the Europa League group stage for the first time.

While the competition is sometimes ridiculed as nothing more than a list of Easyjet destinations, it still provides José Mourinho with the opportunity to deliver some much-needed silverware in his first season at Old Trafford.

United are seeded for the draw which takes place at 12 noon. This means they will avoid being paired with other high-profile teams in pot 1 such as Schalke 04, Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter Milan.

Here are the pots in full:

Pot One: Schalke, Zenit St Petersburg, Manchester United, Shakhtar Donetsk, Athletic Club, Olympiacos, Villarreal, Ajax, Inter, Fiorentina, Anderlecht, Viktoria Plzen.

Pot Two: AZ, Braga, Red Bull Salzburg, Roma, Fenerbahce, Sparta Prague, PAOK, Steaua Bucharest, Genk, APOEL, Standard Liege, Saint-Etienne.

Pot Three: Gent, Young Boys, Krasnodar, Rapid Wien, Slovan Liberec, Celta Vigo, Maccabi Tel Aviv, Feyenoord, Austria Wien, Mainz, Zurich, Southampton.

Pot Four: Panathinaikos, Sassuolo, Qarabag, Astana, Nice, Zorya Luhansk, Astra Giurgiu, Konyaspor, Osmanlispor, Gabala, Hapoel Be'er Sheva, Dundalk.
