BREAKING: Yaya Touré Apologises To Manchester City For Agent's Comments

An olive branch has been extended...

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Touré has released a statement apologising to the club for 'misunderstandings from the past'.

He had been frozen out by manager Pep Guardiola after his agent Dimitri Seluk (below) made comments criticising the Ivorian's omission from this season's Champions League squad.

Seluk said Touré had felt "humiliated" by being left out to which Guardiola responded "I cannot accept as a coach, when his player doesn't play, going to the media to speak and speak and speak."

Touré has now made moves to settle the dispute supposedly with the aim of forcing his way back into the manager's plans.

Would you accept Touré back in the City starting line up or are do you think the club are getting on just fine without him? Let us know your feelings in the comments.
