Manchester pop up Garage Bar has just announced that it’ll be staying open for the Summer months – largely due to the unprecedented popularity of its large roof terrace overlooking Bridge Street!
The cool venue will now stay open until at least September this year, and its owners intend to make the most of the outside space with DJs and cool tunes keeping guests dancing and socialising on the roof terrace (also available for private hire) throughout the Summer months.
Garage Bar has also secured an extended license meaning it can stay open past the previous midnight curfew and is introducing brand new happy hour offers:
Tap Tuesday: 2 for 1 on selected drinks on Tap
Wine Wednesday: House wine for £10
Thirsty Thursday: Receive a free tonic or mixer with your spirit of choice
Fizz Friday: Buy one get one free on 1754 Prosecco
Garage Bar has three glorious floors and occupies the annex next to what will be Manchester Hall, due to open later this year.
Unlike many bars in nearby Spinningfields, The Garage focuses on, in their own words, “not taking itself too seriously” with the emphasis firmly on a fun night out.
Their bar staff are famously dressed in mechanic’s overalls and there is a car-themed interior, which includes wall lights created from old headlights and car front grills and license plates decorating the walls.
With a capacity of 120 people, it can cater for private parties for up to 80 people.
The Garage pop up bar is the first in a series of new openings as part of the new multi million Manchester Hall refurbishment.
