On Friday 15 September, Levenshulme is hosting a retro-inspired night market party, promising a sensational selection of street food with treats from around the world.

Foodie highlights include South American dishes from The Hungry Llama, The Ottomen’s amazing mezze plates, hot snacks from Samosa Shack, Syrian dumplings from Siwan’s Hot Kibbeh and Kenyan-style grilled meats from Nyoma Choma.

Manchester favourites including Lush Brownies, Coffee Cranks (serving up hot boozy drinks), ChouChoux Patisserie and Winter Tarn Cheese will also be there.

The Buttery pop-up bar will be stacked with an excellent selection of prosecco, wine, cider and Manchester craft beers.  There’s also the chance to shop unique artisan gifts and goodies from stalls such as vintage homewares specialist Buygones, Colette Evans Ceramics, Conte Candles, Ragpots, Mint To Be cards and Manchester cityscape specialist SL Scott Artist.

The Lovenotes – a Manchester based, four piece acapella singing group – will be providing the entertainment. They perform across the North West and beyond, often with renowned blues singer Helen Watson. These talented singers will be performing a selection of their best tunes from 7pm, with a fantastic vintage-inspired playlist of ragtime, old timey, blues, vaudeville, chanson and more entertaining the crowds before their performance.

You can check out the full trader list here and keep up with all the news ahead of the night market on the Facebook event page.

The event will take place from 5-9pm on the Levenshulme train station car park.
