It might seem like autumn is wayy too far away to even be thinking about, but tickets for the best event we’ve heard of have just gone on sale at an early bird price.
The Manchester Oktoberfest in Albert Hall boasts beers, live music and an eating contest called the Wurst Olympics.
Festival organisers have confirmed the festival will return bigger and ‘beerier’ than ever for a second year to establish ‘Oktoberfest – Albert Hall’ as one of the key dates in the Manchester calendar.
The original Oktoberfest in Munich attracts millions every year. All to celebrate the Hops and the limited edition festival biers. Confusingly for everyone, the official festival starts mid- September and ends the first weekend in October. Manchester’s ‘Oktoberfest Albert Hall’ will take place at the same time as the official launch in Munich.
The event runs on Friday September 14 at 12pm – 5pm and Saturday September 16 from 6-11pm, and will feature Blackjack, Paulaner, Seven Brothers, Spaten and more.
Tickets start at £13.75, and are available from the official website now.
