This New Deli And Pizzeria Has Just Opened And It Could Rival Rudy's
The place is thriving already
Getting a business started used to be a tedious matter of banks and equity and blah blah blah.
But thanks to the internet - and people like you - cafes like Dootie's have been able to achieve their dream of serving bloody lovely pizza to North Manchester.
The brilliant new family-owned deli and pizzeria is wowing food fans in Hollins Village in Bury.
But the completion of this gorgeous eatery is all thanks to the backing of food fans online.
Their fundraising page explains that the dream started with an old building: "Set in the heart of the village, this old Co-op building boasts heaps of its history from the detailed Victorian arcitraves set on the exterior of this beautiful, double fronted facia."
Describing the architecture as a "focal point during the refurbishment", it's not just what's outside that counts.
Since Dootie's opened its doors to paying customers earlier this month - after raising £280 on Crowdfunder - its Italian pizza oven has been going into overdrive producing delights like these.
They say: "Dooties will be open seven days a week offering a breakfast and lunchtime menu with great coffee in addition to the pizzeria and rustic Italian menu complemented by a great choice of Presecco and wines.
"To complement this we will also have a deli offer for customers to buy some of the great produce we will be using within our menus."
The money raised online has helped with the kitchen, frontage and disabled access for toilets - and those who have popped in are thrilled, with reviews online like: "The food was fantastic! I can honestly say it was the best pizza I've tasted," and: "Love what they have done with the place and wishing them all the best."
We can't wait to pop in.
