The Weekend Will Be Cold Again So Leave Work NOW And Head To One Of These Beer Gardens While The Sun Is Out
Enjoy the sun while you can!
If there was ever a day to pull a sickie, it would be right now.
The sun is shining, the beers are calling and god know when the sun will be back out again because let's face it...this is Manchester.
We’re all deficient in Vitamin D after this winter so I think that’s a perfectly valid reason to wag work and sit in the sun for the day - it’s for our health.
This is literally me running out of the office right now...
So here are some of our favourite outdoor drinking holes to head too today.
The Oast House
Located in the heart of Spinningfields, the Oast House is the perfect spot to head to even if you can only get out for your lunch break. Why not have a pint of Budvar and one of their famous hanging kebabs while soaking up every little bit of sunshine.
Avenue Courtyard, Spinningfields
Port Street Beer House
Voted as the North Manchester CAMRA Pub Of The Year, it’s got a small beer garden - so get down there quick on a sunny day before all the tables are gone!
39-41 Port Street, Manchester
The Fletcher Moss
It's a fuss-free traditional pub with a beer garden out the back - simple as that.
1 William Street, Didsbury
The Old Pint Pot
A favourite among Uni students and locals alike, the pint pot has a large outdoor seating area right on the bank of the River Irwell. It’s super cheap too! Score!
2 Adelphi St, City Centre, Salford M3 6EN
Sinclair's Oyster Bar
A must visit for any local when the sun comes out over our 'rainy' city.
2 Cathedral Approach, Manchester
One of the most famous outdoor bars in Manchester, this bar has a great canal side location and some proper party vibes when the sun goes down.
18-25 Castle Street, Castlefield
This exceptionally large terrace has stunning views out over the canal basin - perfect for a bit of al fresco dining... and drinking...
6 Slate Wharf, Castlefield
It's massive, family friendly and has always got plenty of dogs to pet.
852 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury
A beautiful little roof garden in the coolest of Manchester areas.
43 Thomas Street, Northern Quarter
Where are your favourite spots for an afternoon bev in the sun?
