It’s the 3rd of January which means one only thing – Christmas is officially over and the countdown to Easter is now on.
In the lead up to our next big holiday, Cadbury have announced that the white Creme Egg hunt is back for another year and could see you winning up to £10,000 in cold hard cash.
There are exactly 743 white chocolate Creme Eggs that will be in stores around the UK, however, they will be wrapped in regular packaging like their milk chocolate counterparts. So there will be no way to tell them apart – unless you check the ingredients on the package to see if it’s white or milk chocolate…but where’s the fun in that?
Cadbury will also be launching a ‘Where’s Wally” Style campaign where they will hide eggs in other brands adverts.
If you spot the egg, take a picture and send it into Cadbury and you will be in the running for £10,000.
In total there are eight £10,000 rewards up for grabs when the hunt begins on the 14th January.
Thankfully, Cadbury has given us a little help when it comes to finding the egg by telling us where to find them.
Co-op, ASDA, Sainsbury’s, Tesco and Morrisons will have one £10,000 egg, four worth £1,000, 11 worth £100 and 95 worth £50.
M&S will have one egg worth £10,000, one worth £1,000, one worth £100 and 108 worth £50.
If you are one of the lucky few to stumble upon the lucrative egg, make sure to keep the wrapper as that’s the only way to claim your prize.
The hunt begins on the 14th of January and ends on the 21st of April. All claims need to be made to Cadbury before the 21st of May.
